I want to save the environment, yet I’m sending a printed card? It feels completely surreal. So, one final print for Christmas— but how could we reinforce the message?

Creative Choices for Eco-Friendly Printing: Finding the Perfect Medium

So, we print on the last (whatever) remaining pieces of paper on the planet.
But where should we print to add some drama (and not make it look terrible)?

  • Toilet paper (good, but too fragile)
  • A piece of newspaper (good, but not quite right)
  • Cardboard (getting there)
  • Used cardboard boxes (now we’re talking 🙂 Perfect, even the texture feels just right).

The stamps would have stuck directly onto the cardboard, allowing us to skip the envelope (environmentally speaking). Unfortunately, for delivery security reasons, we couldn’t make it work at the last minute. Anyhow, it was too good to be true, but we’re not discouraged.
